Fall

The cooler days of autumn bring with them the frosty nights, which call for a changing plant pallet. Along with the pansies, kale, and other cold tolerant plants we use in the spring, autumn gives us colorful mums and fall blooming perennials like aster and sedum. We also make use of hardy perennials with attractive foliage, like heuchera and lysimachia. And of course, we are all about the grasses in our autumn planters! From the annual purple fountain grass, to our native switchgrass (and everything in between), grasses provide height and  an excellent contrast of form and texture in a container.

Fall Planters
